Welcome to the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation website.

The Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation is an independent statutory authority within the Gaming and Racing Business Group of the Department of Justice.

On 1 July 2004, with the commencement of the Gambling Regulation Act 2003, the Commission assumed responsibility for the regulation of gambling in Victoria. The Commission replaces the Victorian Casino and Gaming Authority and the Office of Gambling Regulation. About VCGR
